Jamie Cheek Announces Shift of Outreach Operations to Virtual Platforms

With the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the United States and Utah, our campaign has made the decision to shift all outreach operations to virtual platforms, effective immediately. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Utah Department of Health (UDOH) suggest we all take proactive measures to control the spread of COVID-19. In response to the recommendation of public health professionals, our campaign has postponed all scheduled in-person events. We will continue to monitor the developing impacts of COVID-19 and proceed with all previously scheduled events at an indefinite time.

Public health is more important than politics, and the health and safety of all Utahns has always been and remains my top priority. Please follow the recommendations of the CDC and UDOH, wash your hands thoroughly and frequently, and if you can practice social distancing, do so. Visit or to receive reliable information about this outbreak.

Though we will not be holding any in-person events over the next few weeks, there are still some easy ways to help our campaign, especially by calling voters through virtual phone banking. If you are interested in helping us keep up our campaign’s momentum, please feel free to reach out to us on our Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, email, or go to and fill in our Contact Form.
